Authentic, original, family-friendly: Crowded slopes are something you won’t find on the Hochrindl. The ski region in Carinthia’s Nock Mountains is an ideal destination for occasional skiers and families and is awarded with the Carinthian quality seal for pistes. State-of-the-art lifts will take you to 20 kilometres of excellently prepared slopes. The TOMTEGL mountain chalets lie about 800 metres from the lift. A ski rental service and a ski school can be found near the lift. Of course, a stop at one of the huts must also not be missing during a ski day on the Hochrindl where fragrant Kaiserschmarrn, yeast dumplings, cheese noodles and other delicacies will await you.

Even cross-country skiers will get their money’s worth up here. The Hochrindl boasts more than 23 kilometres of snow-safe cross-country ski trails in classic and skating style where winter sportsmen can glide through the landscape. Winter activities without skis

Away from the pistes and cross-country ski trails, winter on the Hochrindl in Carinthia also offers plenty of fun. Experience winter’s quiet side during winter hiking through the magical snow landscape along the cleared trails. Those who decide to go on a snow-shoe hike can also rent the equipment at the ski shop (please reserve in advance) and also book a guide. Or how about a toboggaining run? Then have a race on the toboggan runs - simply a lot of fun for children and adults! Three different runs, partly floodlit at night, will be prepared on the Hochrindl for your tobogganing fun. Winter can also be very romantic! Discover this romance with a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the wintery calm natural scenery in Carinthia.
